Welcome to my homepage. Currently
I am doing PhD in economics at the University
of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. My basic interest is to work
in area of forecasting, especially time series analysis with application to
financial data. More specifically, I want to work in the area of
forecasting volatility in the financial series. I did my
B.Sc.(Statistics) from Presidency College,
Kolkata and my M.S.(Statistics) from Indian
Statistical Institute.
